KAIMUR POLICE ARRESTED TWO LIQUOR SMUGGLERS WITH 144 BOTTLES OF IMFL

Bhabhua (RNI) Kaimur police arrested two liquor smugglers along with 144 bottles of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) under Chand police station area in Kaimur district. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Riyaz Ansari son of Azad Ansari of Elahi village under Sayyadraja police station of Chandauli district and Nazim Ansari son of late Nuruddin of Usia village under Dildarnagar police station of Gajipur district in Uttar Pradesh. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Chand police station under the New Excise Act and sent them to jail after interrogation.

SHO Chand police station said that during a vehicle checking drive, the police intercepted a motorcycle and when searched, the police seized 144 bottles of IMFL. The police seized the IMFL and the motorcycle and arrested both the liquor smugglers.
