MARRIED WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE

ARA----------------------------After a tip off with her husband, a woman committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan of her house at Pandura village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Indu Devi 23 wife of Ram Krishna Hari alias Leelu of Pandura village.

Anish alias Chhotu younger brother of the deceased of Kakan Dihara village under Pawana police station said that his sister Indu Devi was married with Ram Krishna Hari alias Leelu son of Sant Prakash alias Munna Jee of Pandura village under Sandesh police station in the year 2019 and since her in-laws tortured her for a gold chain and when their demand was fulfilled, they killed her and hanged her to the ceiling fan to give a colour of suicide.

On the other hand, maternal elder brother-in-law (bahsur) of the deceased Dev Kishore Singh said that Ram Krishna Hari along with his wife Indu Devi was chatting and in the meantime, she had a tiff with her husband. Later she came out of the room on the pretext of making tea and when she did not return, the family members became anxious and went to her room where they found that Indu Devi had committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan. They at once informed the police.

Sources said that Ram Krishna Hari had followed a girl who was reading with him in his school, on Instagram and when his wife saw it, she became angry and committed suicide.

SHO Sandesh Police Station Awadhesh Kumar said that husband and wife had a tiff over some issues and in a fume, the wife committed suicide. He said that only postmortem report would confirm the exact reason of death though police are investigating the matter.
