NEWLYWED WOMAN KILLED FOR MERELY A MOTORCYCLE

BUXAR-------------------------One newlywed woman was killed at Beriya village under Koransarai police station in Buxar district merely for a motorcycle. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The in-laws are absconding after the incident. The deceased was identified as Nitu Kumari 21 wife of Santosh Kumar of Bairiya village under Koransarai police station.

Upendra Singh of Amrit Rai ka Dera village under Navanagar police station married his daughter Nitu Kumari with Santosh Kumar 25 son of Sastyendra Kuamr Singh of Bairiya village under Koransarai police station in Buxar district about five months ago. Since her in-laws tortured her merely for a motorcycle and when their demand was not fulfilled, they killed her and fled away from the house leaving the body in the room. Meanwhile Upendra Singh said that he got information that his daughter had committed suicide. He rushed to Bairiya village and found the body of his daughter was lying on bed but all the family members were absconding.

SHO Koransarai police station Abhay Kumar said that the police recovered the body from the house on information from villagers but no application from the deceased parents has so far been received though the police are investigating the matter.
