ROHTAS POLICE RECOVERED A BODY FROM A DRAIN AND ARRESTED FOUR PERSONS

SASARAM-------------------------Rohtas police recovered a body of a youth from a drain at Dalelganj area after six days of murder and brought the body to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Shahbaz Alam 18 son of Ibrahim Gaddi of Sagar locality under Sasaram town police station. The police also arrested four of his friends namely Rahul, Tamatar, Dilshad and Bittu in this regard and sent them to jail after interrogation.

Quoting Ibrahim Gaddhi, father of the deceased, Rohtas SP Roushan Kumar said that Shahbaz Alam was missing since May 13, 2025. He searched for him everywhere and when failed, he informed the police in this regard on May 16, 2025 and lodged an FIR regarding the missing of his son. Afrer institution of FIR, the police swung into action and arrested four friends of the deceased, Rahul, Tamatar, Dilshad and Bittu and interrogated them. On their revelation, the police recovered the body from a drain near Dalelganj area and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The SP said heavy police force have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order there.
