SHAHABAD DIG SUSPENDS AHIYAPUR CHOWKIDAR FOR DERELICTION OF DUTY

BUXAR----------------------------After the Ahiyapur triple muder under Rajpur police station in Buxar district in the morning on May 24, 2025, Shahabad range DIG, Satya Prakash suspended the Ahiyapur’s chowkidar Ritesh Pandey with immediate effect for negligence and dereliction of duty.

The DIG believed that the chowkidar has shown great negligence and did not give detailed information of Friday incident to the local police station due to which such a big incident could not prevented from taking place. At the same time, questions are also being raised on the role of the SHO Rajpur police station whome the victims have accused of colluding with the attackers. The DIG said that the allegations against the SHO are being investigated if found guilty, stern action would be taken against him. Even the role of Dial 112 is also being considered suspicious. Information is being sought as to wheter the Dial 112 team received the information in time or not and wheter the Dial 112 team was able to reach the spot on time. Police sources said that if negligence of Dial 112 team is exposed, action will be taken against the entire team.

Panic prevails in and around the Ahiyapur village following the murder of three persons of a family and the wedding’s happiness turned into mourning. The auspicious songs took the place of women’s sreams and the entire atmosphere became gloomy.

Marriage of Sunil Yadav’s younger brother Sudama yadav, who lost his life in the incident, was fixed and his Tilak was to be held on June 1, 2025 and the wedding was to be solemnized on June 6, 2025. But the murder of three persons of a family created gloom on the face of the family members. Even after being beaten on May 23, 2025, the victim’s side was silent so that the marriage could be completed peacefully but destiny had something else in store. The accused did not even care that the marriage of a young person was to be solemnized within a week.
