BIHIA 20-POINT CHAIRPERSON’S HUSBAND ARRESTED FOR EXTORTION AND FIRING

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police arrested Bihia 20-point chairperson Nutan Devi’s husband Ram Babu Gupta of Judge Bazaar under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district in a case of extortion nand firing and sent him to jail after interrogation.

SHO Bihia police station Aditya Kumar said that Nutan Devi had earlier given an application to the DSP and accused the IO while the casewas supervised by the DSP itself. On January 30, 2025, two groups of the area clashed over a personal issue. On one side, Bihia Chairperson Sachin Kumar Gupta and on the other side, 20- point Chairperson’s husband Ram Babu Gupta accused each other of firing and demanding extortion. The police have already sent Vikas Yadav of Rupabandh village under Jagdishpur police station to jail while the Bihia 20-point chairperson was absconding.
