FOUR PERSONS OF A FAMILY SHOT DEAD IN BUXAR

BUXAR-------------------------Four persons of a family were shot dead in firing in the morning today at Ahiyapur village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district while one is seriously injured due to a dispute over stone chips and sand. After the incident, the villagers became agitated and blocked the road. They paralyzed movement of vehicles and raised slogans against the district administration. Police rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Rajpur police station in this regard and the police are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Heavy police force has been deployed in the area to maintain law and order. Tension prevails in and around the area following the incident. Shababad DIV Dr. Satya Prakash rushed to the spot and said no one would be spared at any cost. The police conducted raids at the house of the miscreants but all the family members are absconding.

Vinod Yadav and Sunil Yadav of Ahiypur village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district had a dipute with some people of the village on last Friday over dumping of stone chips and sand at Jalahar-Khauva-Konch main road near Ahiyapur village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district. On Saturday early morning, some armed miscreants fired on half a dozen members of their family near the canal. Vinod Singh 50 son ofo Baban Singh, Sunil Singh 40 son of Daya Shankar Singh of Ahiyapur village and Virendra Singh 35 sono f Kashinath Singh and Mantu Singh 35 son of Daya Shankar Singh were killed on spot while one Poojan Singh 40 son of Lalan Singh was injured in the firing were referred to Varanasi in precarious condition in Uttar Pradesh.

Chaos and fear psychosis prevails in the area following the incident. Villaers and family members of the deceased blocked the Chausa-Kochas main road near Jalhara market and paralyzed movement of vehicles. They were demanding immediate arreast of the miscreants.

SHO Rajpur police station Santosh Kumar tried his level best to maintain peace but in vain. Buxar SP Shubham Araya along with police force rushed to the spot and started in-depth investigation.

It was said that former District Board Deputy Chairperson, former Mukhia Rasen Panchayt Manoj Yadav and his family members had an eye on the shops of the deceased and he wanted to capture it anyhonw. In the morning snad was being dumped that caused resitence and Manoj Yadav and his aides allegedly fired indiscrimately in which four persons of a family were killed and one is injured.
