BMP POLICE PERSON CRUSHED TO DEATH

ARA--------------------------Bihar police Hawaldar was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Kasap village under Udwantnagar police station on Ara-Sasaram State Highway in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Devendra Paswan 42 son of Assi Lal Paswan of Bel Mohan village under Fulparas police station in Madhubani distict and was posted at BMP, Dumraon in Buxar district but he was deputed at Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district presently. He lived at Kasap Panchayat building. He was appointed in the BMP in the year 2004. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Udwantnagar police station in this regard and the police are trying to identify the vehicle with the help of CCTV footage. Bhojpur SP Mister Raj and the ASP Parichay Kumar rushed to spot to investigate the matter.

Family members of the deceased said that Devendra Paswan had gone to the Kasap Market in the evening on May 18, 2025 to buy some green vegetables and when he was returning, a speeding vehicle crushed him to death.
