MIDDLE AGED WOMAN RECEIVED BULLET INJURY WHILE SLEEPING

ARA----------------------One middle aged woman received bullet injury abruptly while sleeping at the roof of her house at Laxmanpur village under Ara Muffassil police station at about midnight. The family members rushed her to the Ara Sadar Hospital. The injured was identified as Kalawati Devi 45 wife of late Triloki Prasad of Laxmanpur village. On information, police rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. The police also recovered a pellet from the spot. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station against three persons on the statement of the injured.

Kalawati Devi said that she along with her younger daughter was sleeping at the roof of her house in the village when she heard a crackling sound at about midnight and woke up her daughter and asked her to see what the sound was. The daughter told her that blood was oozing out of her back. She woke up other members of the family who rushed her to the Ara Sadar Hospital. She denied any enmity with anyone in the village.
