BUXAR------------------------Buxar police busted a gang of pillagers and taking swift action and arrested five memebrs of the gang that robbed the passersby. The police recovered a country made pistol, blank cartridge, video camera with bag, three smart phones and a key pad phone from them. The arrested miscreants were identified as Ravi Kumar son of Ram Jee Singh of Amirata village under Suryapura police station in Rohtas district, Deepu Kumar son of Arun Sharma of Usari village under Dawath police station in Rohtas district, Anish Kumar son of Durgadutt alias Santosh Singh of Kesath village under Nawanagar police station in Buxar district, Ravi Kumar son of Laxman Yadav of Katariya village under Agiaw Bazaar police station in Bhojpur district, Ajeet Sahara son of Dhan Jee Singh of Goshaldih village under Suryapura police station in Rohtas district. A named FIR was lodged with the police against them Murar police station and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

Dumraon SDPO Afaque Akhtar Ansari said that Vivek Kumar complained the SHO Murar police station in writing that when he was returning home at Chaugai at about 1am on Sunday after completing the work of videography at the house of Manu Tiwari of Baijnathpur village, some miscreants intercepted him near the Basantpur Sajan brick kiln and snathched his video camera, one gold locket and Rs. 700 in cash at pistol point. He informed Manut Tiwari’s brother Amit Tiwari on mobile at once about the inciden. At about 2.30am Amit Kumar informed Vivek Kumar that the village caught four miscreants involved in the loot while two others fled away from the scene. He also said that the confectioner who was working during the Tilak ceremony had also met such an incident. The miscreants had snatched his mobile and Rs. 500 in cash. The SHO arrested all the four miscreants. During interrogation, they also named two of their associates. The police conducted raid and arrested Deepu Kumar from Rohtas and recovered a country made pistol, one blank cartridge from him. Police are conducting raids to arrest the rest miscreants. The SDPO further said that Ravi Kumar son of Ram Jee Singh of Amirata village under Suryapura police station in Rohtas district has criminal history.
