MISCREANTS SHOT DEAD A YOUTH AT ARA

ARA-----------------------In a broad day light, some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead Ambedkar Colony near Sapana Cinema Mor under Ara town police station. The deceased was identified as Birju Kumar son of Sudama Prasad of Ambedkar Colony. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. ASP and other police officers rushed to the spot and took information about the incident. The police also recocvered five blank cartridges and a pellet from the spot. Irate residents of the area blocked the Shivganj tri-junction with the body of the deceased and paralyzed movement of the vehicles for about two hours. They raised slogans against the district administration and demanded immediate arrest of the miscreants. They also demanded compensation for the family of the deceased. The blockade could be lifted after positive response of the police officers. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard against against six persons including Sudhir Yadav, Amit Yadav of Moti Tola under Ara town police station, Jitedra Yadav of Jamira village on the statement of Sudama Prasad father of the deceased. A special police team has been formed and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

ASP, Parichay Kumar said that Biraju Kumar was sitting under a tree near his house after having breakfast when motorcycle borne three armed miscreants came fired on him indiscriminately after watching the situation for some time. Biraju Kumar tried his best to safeguard himself and entered a house but the miscreants did not leave him there either and pumped five bullets into his body from point blank range and escaped from the scene.

Sudama Prasad, father of the deceased said that in fact, the miscreants had come to kille his elder son Veer who is criminal minded and had been in jail in connection with a murder. He said that Veer also protested sale and purchase and also smuggling of liquor in the area and so the miscreants had threatened with dire consequences five months ago but the miscreants shot dead Biraju Kumar by mistake.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that a mechanic Sushil Kumar elder brother of Sudhir Yadasv of Moti Tola under Ara town police station was shot dead on February 22, 2022 and Veer, elder brother of Biraju Kumar was made named accused in the case. Veer was arrested within 24 hours after the incident with a country made pistol and two live cartridges and was sent to jail. He said that the miscreants shot dead Biraju Kumar to take revenge of the old enmity. It was said that Veer had taken contact of Rs. 1 lakh to kill Sushil Kumar as he informed the police about smuggling of heroin. The contractor is supposed to be the murderer this time as he has some differences with Veer.

ASP further said that the murder the mechanic Sushil Kumar was an outcome of rivalry in between two gangs. Sushil Kumar used to inform the police about the smuggling of heroin and someone hired Veera on contract of Rs. 1 lakh.
