ONE KILLED, ANOTHER INJURED IN BUXAR VILLAGE

Ara, 25 April 2023, (RNI): In a group clash one youth was killed while another injured at Ijari Budhan village under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district in the late evening on April 24, 2023. Police brought the body to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Satyendra Singh while the injured was identified as Pradeep Singh of Ijari Budhan village. Long standing dispute is said to be cause behind the incident. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Buxar Muffassil police staiton in this regard and the police are investigating the matter. Police also arrested two persons in this connection so far. The police also recovered a two barrel gun, a country made pistol and live cartridges from the spot.

Buxar SP Manish Kumar said that two groups had long standing enmity and they always quarreled among themselves. In the late evening on April 24, 2023, members of one group came at the gate of another group and showered abuses. The other group fired from the roof of their house and killed one Satyndra Singh and injured Pradeep Singh of the village. The SP said that situation is tense but under control.
