BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST THREE ARMS SMUGGLERS INCLUDIGN TWO TEENAGERS WITH FIREARMS

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested three arms smugglers including two teenagers from under the Ara town police station area and recovered one country made pistol, five live cartridges, one magazine and two mobiles from them. The arrested arms smugglers were identified as Shrawan Kumar of Chhotaki Sanadiya village under Ara Muffassil police station and two teenage arms smugglers. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station against five arms smugglers and the police sent the arrested arms smugglers to jail after interrogation. Police are conducting raids to arrest two other arms smugglers.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that the STF got information that a big consignment of arms was to be delivererd in Ara. At this the STF with the help of Ara town police station conducted raid at Chhotaki Sanadiya village under Ara town police station and arrested Shrawan Kumar who is said to be the mastermind of the gang and recovered a country made pistol, five live cartridges, one magazine and a mobile from him. On his revelation, the police also arrested two teenage arms smugglers from under Ara town police station area and also recovered a mobile. The SP stated that during investigation, it came to light that members of the gang dealt in arms on WhatsApp and mobile and several photographs of arms were found on their mobiles. During interrogation, they revealed names of two more arms smugglers.
