ARA-------------------------Bihar STF and Bhojpur police arrested an awardee of Rs. 25,000 from Ramana Maidan under Ara Nawada police station and sent him to jail after interrogation in connection with three criminal cases including attack on police force and attempt to murder case. The arrested awardee was identified as Vikas Yadav son of Radha Singh of Thengawa village under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district. Three criminal cases are pending against him under Chauri police station and he was absconding in all the three cases.
Bhojpur SP Mister Raj in a press release said that Vikas Yadav was absconding for the last four years and the police were conducting raid to arrest him and when failed, an award of Rs. 25,000 was announced on his head. The SP further said that the Bihar STF got information that Vikas Yadav was seen at Ara. The STF with the help of Chauri police station at once swung into action and conducted raid at Ramana Maidan under Ara Nawada police station at once and arrested him.
The SHO Chauri police station Vivek Kumar said that the police had attached his property in the near 2021 in connection with attack on police force and Arms Act under Sikarhatta police station. Despite he was absconding for the last four years.
