FIRE BROKE OUT IN SUCY AT THE ARA SADAR HOSPITAL DUE TO SHORT CIRCUIT, CHILDREN WERE RESCUED

ARA-------------------------------A fire broke out in the Special New Born Care Unit (SNCU) ward of the Ara Sadar Hospital today due to a sudden short circuit. After the fire alarm rang, all the staffs, doctors and guards of the hospital swung into action and the fire was quickly brought under control and any untoward incident was averted and all the children admitted in the ward ward rescued.

Deputy Superintendent rushed to the spot and started investigating the cause of the fire. It may be said that a fire incident had happended earlier in this ward. State Health Committee and Health Department built an emergency gate after that incident so that the newborn babies admitted in the ward can be rescued safely. Due to sudden fire in the SNCU ward, there was panic among the relatives of the newborn babies admitted in the ward though all of them were safely rescued on time.
