KHALASI OF A T RUCK KILLED, DRIVER INJURED

ARA----------------------------Poclain machine parked at a Sand Ghat at Mahendaura village under Azimabad police station in Bhojpr district, suddenly ran over the sleeping khalasi and driver of truck in which the khalasi was killed while the driver was seriously injured. The deceased was identified as Ehsan Ali 22 of Balapur village under Badhariya police station in Siwan district while the injured was identified as Kurban Ali of the same village. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. An FIR was lodged with the police under Azimabad police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter.

Family members of the deceased said that Ehsan Ali had worked in a private company in Ahmedabad but some months ago, he left the job there and started working at a truck as Khalasi. He along with Kurban Ali had gone to load a truck with sand at Mahendaura village Sand Ghat under Azimabad police station in Bhojpur district. They were sleeping at the Sand Ghat in the night near their truck when a poclain machine parked at the Sand Ghat suddenly ran over them killing Ehasan Ali on spot and injuring Kurban Ali.
