MARRIED WOMAN STRANGULATED TO DEATH FOR A MOTORCYCLE AND A GOLD CHAIN

ARA----------------------One married woman was strangulated to death at Angarua village under Tier police station in Bhojpur district merely a motorcycle and a gold chain. The deceased was identified as Sulekha Kumari 25 wife of Mukesh Yadav of Angarua village. All the family members fled away from the scene. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Tier police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

SHO Tier police station Vijay Kumar said that Sulekha Kumari of Chasi village under Narauanpur police station in Bhojpur district was married with Mukesh Yadav of Angarua village under Tier police station two years ago. Since her in-laws tortured her mentally and physically merely for a motorcycle and a gold chain. Even the families of her in-laws and that of her parents had exchanged hot discussion on the issue and when the in-laws found that their demands would not be fulfilled, they strangulated her to death and fled away from the scene. On information, the police arrived at the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
