ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED

ARA---------------------------One teenage boy was killed while two others injured when a speeding vehicle dashed their motorcycle near Belaur Benglow under Udwantnagar police station on Ara-Arwal main road in Bhojpur district in the morning. The deceased was identified as Rohit Kumar 14 Ashok Thakur of Khanet village under Pawana police station in Bhojpur district while the injured were identified as Priyanshu Rai alias Golu 23 son of Santosh Rai and Rohit Kumar 18 son of Sarvodaya Upadhayaya of the same village. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. Later the doctor referred the injured to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The deceased was a student of Class X. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Udwantnagar police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the driver of the vehicle.

SHO Udwantnagar police station said that Rohit Kumar along with friends Priyanshu Rai alias Golu and Rohit Kumar was going to Ara on a motorcycle in the morning when a speeding vehicle collided head-on with the motorcycle near Belaur Benglow under Udwantnagar police station killing Rohit Kumar on the spot and injuring the two pillion riders.
