ARA------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a confidential report, conducted raid at the house at Balbahatara locality under Ara town police station in the last evening and arrested a youth with an illegal rifle, two live cartridges, one magazine and a mobile. The arrested youth was identified as Pappu Kumar Singh son of Umashankar Singh of Balbahtara locality. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation. Police are investigating the maater.
Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that he got information that Pappu Kumar Singh of Balhabatara locality had illegal arms. He formed a police team under the SHO Ara town police station Devraj Rai. The police team conducted raid in the house of Pappu Kumar Singh at Balbahatara under Ara town police station and arrested Pappu Kumar Singh and recovered an illegal rifle, two live cartridges, one magazine and a mobile from him. The SP said that the arms might be stolen or might be used in some criminal activities.
