ONE DROWNED TO DEATH WHILE TWO MISSING

SASARAM------------------------Three members of a family including father and son drowned in the Ulha Sone river under Nauhatta police station in Rohtas district when they were having a dip in the river afrer the last rites of their relatives. The police recovered one body while are searching for two others. A team of divers has been pressed into rescue operation. The police recovered the body of Ritesh Kumar Sharma son of Satyendra Sharam while Nageshwar Sharma 60 and his son Ranjan Sharma 20 are missing and the police are searching for them. The police brought the body to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

SHO Nauhatta police station said that people from Kajipur village had come to attend the last rites of Uday Sharma’s mother and after the last rites, Ritesh Sharma, Ranjan Sharma and Nageshwar Sharma entered the river to have a dip and during bathing, they were swayed away by the fast current of the river and were drowned. The locals tried to rescue them but they could only rescue Ritesh Sharma.
