ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED

ARA (RNI) One person was killed while two others injured when a speeding vehicle dashed a motorcycle from behind near Badari Tola under Pawana police station of Agaiw block in Bhojpur district in the late evening on March 20, 2024. The police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. Doctor referred one of the injured to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The deceased was identified as Sahendra Singh 22 son of Sudama Singh of Sundarpur Kori village under Sandesh police station while the injured were identified as Umesh Singh 40 and Dinesh Yadav 35 sons of late Lal Mohar Singh of the same village. The deceased was a labourer by profession.

Dinesh Yadav said that he along with his elder brother Umesh Singh and cousin brother Sahendra Singh had come to Vishambharpur village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur on a motorcycle for a marriage negotiation of his niece and daughter of Umesh Singh. When they were returning home and Sahendra Singh was driving the motorcycle, a speeding vehicle dashed the motorcycle from behind near Badari Par Ke Tola under Pawana police station injuring all of them. The locals rushed them to the Primary Health Centre at Agaiw but Sahendra Singh succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. Despite they brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared Sahendra Singh dead and referred Umesh Singh to the PMCH in precarious condition.
