UNCLE BEATS NEPHEW TO DEATH IN A LAND DISPUTE

ARA-----------------------------An uncle beat his own nephew to death with sticks in a land dispute at Ametha village under Agiaw Bazaar police station in Bhojpur district in the night. The deceased was identified as Prabha Shankar Tiwari, 40 son of late Ramswami Tiwari of Ametha vilalge under Agiaw Bazaar police station. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Agaiw Bazaar police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreant.

Satyendra Pandey, uncle(fufa) of the deceased said that a long standing land dispute was going on in between Prabha Shankar Tiwari and his uncle Sharadanand Tiwari alias Choubey Jee for about 18 long years regarding 34 bighas of land due to which Prabha Shankar Tiwari’s family was harassed a lot and his mother Meena Dev had commited suicide by consuming poison. After her death, Prabha Shankar Tiwari had filed a named FIR with the police under Agiaw Bazaar police station against his uncle and others. However, after two years, the case was settled after much pleading.

In the night, when Prabha Shankar Tiwari was sitting at his door, his elder uncle Sharadanand Tiwari alias Choubey Jee along with his sons Pankaj Tiwari and Vikas Tiwari came with sticks in their hands and thrashed and injured him. The family members rushed him to the Piro Primary Health Centre but the doctor referred him to the Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared him dead.

Satyendra Pandey accused Sharadanand Tiwari alias Choubey Jee and his two sons Pankaj Tiwari and Vikas Tiwari of killing his nephew.
